![]() As much as I enjoyed the other stories, I'd have bought this audiobook (and book) just for Fae's Gold. Rory will protect Daniel at all costs but Daniel also doesn't hesitate to step in to do damage control insofar as he can. The casual physical care between the two is sweet and slow. Daniel is blatant but hesitant, Rory respectful but also makes his affection known. ![]() I need the story of Daniel and Rory like air and I'm so excited for it. That aside, this story is everything glorious in the world. Cian did bad things and felt no remorse about it, but I dare any of the main cast to say they'd not do the same if the literal half of their soul was going to die after years beyond counting, from birth, and they thought they could save them at the cost of some lives of people they didn't know. Being a psychopath doesn't mean cold blooded murderer - it doesn't make a person BAD. 'A History of Trouble': Angel was joking when he asked OMalley if someone resurrected a mammoth. ![]() Witness a brief glimpse into the brutal history of the Wars with Ignacio Salvatore and the vampire he loves, Ashwin Metcalfe, in 1897. This story brings me utter joy, though one of the main cast being "he's a pasychopath!" When Cian comes up makes me sigh. 'Red Wine and Blood': The Blood Wars raged for centuries across Boston. The majority of the book is the last Fae's Gold and it is everything I need in my life. A day in Erochs life was interesting and one Id listen to again! Not my fave of the four but definitely fun. ![]() People being dumb, Angel being exasperated, magic going wonky. The first story is fab and I want to know way more about the first(?) Salvatore/vampire bond, especially since it's mentioned it'll take about thirty years total for the bond to settle fully in place rather than the weeks/months it took his descendents. I would end the world for Rory and Daniel ![]()
